The 253km race is the finale of the season's cobbled classics and will be Wiggins' last outing for Team Sky.
Thomas already has one victory under his belt from this year's classics after taking top spot in the 215km E3 Harelbeke last month.
This time around he will face competition from Wiggins who is looking to end his five-year association with Team Sky on a high.
But Thomas says he will be happy to see any member of Team Sky take the triumph – even at his own expense.
"It may just be a joint thing as it's one of those races that anything can happen," he said.
"I think we'll both be protected riders and have the help from the team.
"Tactically a lot of things come into play... you can go in with plan A but usually it's plan C or D that actually happens.
"If Brad goes away early then I'm not going to chase. If it does come back then that's my chance to go, and vice versa.
"If he's riding really well and he's got the best chance of winning, then it's all about the team winning and not who it is.
"As long as there's a Team Sky jersey stood on that top podium, we'll all be happy. We've got a few cards to play."
