The 2013 Tour de France will reportedly feature the famous Mount Ventoux climb.
With 'La Grande Boucle' celebrating its 100th anniversary, the so-called 'Giant of Provence' is to make a rare appearance on the route.
Set for the start of the third and final week, the Ventoux was pivotal to Alberto Contador's 2009 overall triumph.
It has featured only three times in the last decade.
In addition, Le Dauphine Libere reports that the signature L'Alpe d'Huez will be climbed twice by the riders in 2013.
The official announcement is on October 24 in Paris, but it is already known that the Tour will start on Corsica with three stages taking place there.
It is the first time it has visited the island since 1903.
