Rafal Majka won his home event, the Tour of Poland, after Kristoff Vandewalle claimed the seventh and final stage.
The brief 25km time trial in Krakow saw Vandewalle claim the stage win ahead of Ariano Molari and Britain’s Steve Cummings.
That was enough for Majka, who co-starred at this year’s Tour de France and claimed the ‘King of the Mountains’ polka dot jersey, to finish top of the General Classification, having won the tour’s previous two stages.
Majka is the first Polish rider to win his home tour since 2003, when Cezary Zamana achieved the feat.
