Even if he does not end up making the Show Jumping World Cup Final in Omaha, Nebraska later this month, Great Britain’s Scott Brash will have offered himself a nice consolation prize today, winning this Saturday’s CSI 5* Grand Prix at the Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre in Doha, Qatar.

Brash, riding his fantastic mare Ursula XII, took home the 165,000€ first place pay-off ahead of Turkey’s Omer Karaevli (on Roso Au Crosnier) and Spain’s Pilar Lucrecia Cordon (Galine La Cour Zichelhof), in second and third place respectively.
