Local ace Pavel Valoušek dropped out of the top five on the FIA European Rally Championship's Barum Czech Rally Zlín when he struck a rock on stage seven.
The ŠKODA driver explained that the rock in the middle of the road on the Košíky 2 test was unavoidable, and it caused a puncture on the front-right tyre.
Completing the 22.22-kilometre stage with a deficit of over a minute to the drivers around him on the leaderboard, he has slipped from fifth to eighth overall, promoting fellow Fabia R5 driers Jan Cerný, Jaromír Tarabus and Fabian Kreim.
Up front, Alexey Lukyanuk was quickest for the second time in three stages and took another big chunk out of Jan Kopecký's lead, going 6.9s faster than the local star to cut the gap to just 2.1s.
