Kristóf Klausz achieved his objectives on the penultimate event of the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championhip season, Rally di Roma Capitale.
After a heavy crash in Poland and a non-start in Czech Republic, the Hungarian Peugeot driver was keen to go the distance in Italy, where he finished fifth in class alongside co-driver Botond Csányi.

“It was really hard and long but it was really enjoyable and we learned a lot,” said Klausz. “We are in the finish and this is the most important thing. After the first stage we said already it was much better than Poland. We drove safely on this rally – it was our objective. The work of the mechanics is really good so we had no problems with the car and the co-driver as well. Nothing was a problem.”
