Registrations for the 2016 FIA European Rally Championship have reached 90 – with none other than Freddy Loix becoming the latest to sign up.

The Belgian will compete on his home round, the Kenotek Ypres Rally, once more, eyeing a record-extending 11th win and fourth in a row.
By registering for the ERC in advance, he joins compatriot Vincent Verschueren, who finished third on the asphalt event last year. The 2016 edition of the rally takes place on 23-25 June.
More drivers have registered ahead of competing on this week’s Azores Airlines Rallye, including local Ford Fiesta R5 drivers Fernando Peres and Luis Rego as well as Ruben Rodriguez, Pedro Vale and Rui Moniz, who have all signed up to be part of the ERC2 fight on the event. Diogo Gago returns to the ERC Junior fold, with José Monteiro joining him in the ERC3 ranks.
