The two-time world silver medallists delivered a stellar display, producing a quadruple twist, a triple toe-double toe combination, throw triple Salchow and flip as well as level-four lifts.
And despite falling on the triple Salchow, the Chinese pair picked up 144.28 points, with their total of 225.03 points enough to take the title in Korea.
"It is a big honor for us to have won this title for the fourth time," said Han. "But we got this medal not only for us, we owe it to everyone who is around us and helped us to come back.
"We were reborn in this championship. There were many challenges that we had to overcame and we are very happy we did that".
Second place went to Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford of Canada, with the reigning world champions scoring 137.92 points to move from third to second at 212.23 points.
That came as Zhang Hao and Yu Xiaoyu slipped from runners-up spot to fourth after their second routine, with Liubov Ilyushechkina and Dylan Moscovitch profiting to take the final spot on the podium.
Meanwhile, Mai Mihara came back from fourth place to take gold at her very first event of the Four Continents competition.
Mihara reeled off a triple Lutz-triple toe combination, a double Axel-triple toe, four more triples as well as two level-four spins to score 134.34 points for the Free Skating, improving her personal best by almost ten points.
The 17-year-old Japanese skater totalled 200.85 points to take the title, while Gabrielle Daleman of Canada earned the silver medal and America's Mirai Nagasu took bronze.
Mihara said: "At first I was quite nervous, but I started with a smile and I think I was a very beautiful Cinderella by the end, so I feel glad about that.
"At first I thought I should do my best to finish the competition with the best I have and I felt the same during the program and at the end I was proud of myself."
