Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu added a second straight Grand Prix Final to his growing gold medal collection after triumphing in Barcelona.
Hanyu, the reigning Olympic and world champion, totalled 288.16 points to win by a whopping 34.26 over Spain's Javier Fernandez, while Russian Sergey Voronov won bronze.
The 20-year-old scored a personal best 194.08 in the free skate — 19.36 better than anyone else — while his winning margin was the second-highest in men's Grand Prix Final history, behind Yevgeny Plushenko in 2004.
Hanyu also became the second man to repeat as Grand Prix Final champion in the event's 20-year history, joining Plushenko and Patrick Chan.
The women's event was won by Russian teenager Elizaveta Tuktamysheva as she extended her midway lead to claim a dominant victory.
The 17-year-old, who broke her foot in March, cruised through her free skate to finish with a personal best 136.06 points for a winning total of 203.58.
In second place was compatriot Elena Radionova on 198.74n while American Ashley Wagner completed the podium in third on 189.50.
Earlier in Barcelona there was plenty for Canada to celebrate as they took victories in both the ice dance and the pairs.
Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje took gold in the ice dance with a score of 181.14, with Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates and France’s Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron in second and third respectively.
Meanwhile, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford were triumphant in the pairs event with a total score of 220.72.
Russians Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov were second on 213.72, while China's Wenjing Sui and Cong Han were third.
