14 Japanese teams for EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy at Suzuka

Fourteen Japanese teams will face off at the EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy at the Suzuka 8 Hours, the 2016-2017 FIM EWC final to be raced this Sunday in Japan. A total of €20,000 of prize money will be awarded to the top ten Dunlop-shod teams past the finish line.
The winner will get a prize of €4,000, the runner-up €3,000, the second runner-up €2,700 and so on, down to €500 for the 10th team past the finish.
Post-qualifying, Japanese squad Team Frontier, which has recruited the Frenchman Louis Rossi, is the best placed to win the EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy, ahead of KRP SanyoKogyo & RS-Itoh and Clever Wolf Racing & 3Art.
The EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy has been renewed this season by championship promoter Eurosport Events, Dunlop and the organizers of each FIM EWC 2016/2017 race, and is open to all private teams. Participating teams must use tyres designed and supplied by Dunlop Motorsport for each race.
