Another brace from Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern Munich an emphatic victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, and the Pole again showed why many believe he is the best striker in the world.

Now boasting an incredible tally of 100 goals in just 136 games, Lewandowski has taken the Bavarian giants to a whole new level since he made the controversial switch from rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Thanks to Lewandowski, Bayern stretched their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table to 10 points, and that's due in a very large part to his firepower and prolific goalscoring record. Perhaps this will be the year that he leads Bayern to another level in the Champions League to further crown his standing.

Such are the talents within Pep Guardiola's team that it seems preposterous to confidently pick out Leroy Sane as the best player at the Etihad Stadium. However, anyone who has seen him perform in recent weeks would surely agree.

Sane was again in sublime form before he was rested by Guardiola in the 70th minute having inspired his side to another fine win. Guardiola has just received the Manager of the Month award, thanks in large part to Sane's stunning performances.

The German has scored or assisted eight goals in his last 12 appearances for City and, at the age of just 21, is showing his incredible ability and promise for the years to come. A quite brilliant signing.

Everton are quietly putting together a highly impressive season. The Toffees' win against West Brom moved them to within two points of Manchester United.

In Romelu Lukaku they have a forward of the highest calibre but his supporting cast is pretty impressive too. In fact, it is hard to see a standout weakness in their midfield/forward line. Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin provide expert protection for the back four, Tom Davies provides industry and guile alongside them. Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas may struggle with consistency but have the ability to prise open any defence in the league. They are in fine shape.

However, there is still huge potential for improvement. The keeper and the defence could do with some work. But they have money. The elite six in the Premier League could be about to turn into an elite seven.

Marco Silva has proven an astute appointment by Hull City. On his appointment, Hull were rock bottom with 13 points after 20 games. Eight games later they have 24 points and are one point from hauling clear of the relegation zone.

Silva has turned a rudderless side into one with a sense of purpose. A side that has beaten Liverpool, drawn with Manchester United and just turned over an in-form Swansea side in a relegation six-pointer.

Silva only signed a six-month deal and he will be a man in demand whether or not Hull manage to escape the relegation mire.

Josh King did something pretty remarkable for Bournemouth on Saturday: he cut a dejected figure as he missed a ninth-minute penalty, but promptly responded with an electrifying hat-trick to make a real name for himself.

King has now scored five goals in his last five Premier League games and his pace and ability indicate that he has a surprisingly high ceiling - something which will not be remotely lost on his manager, Eddie Howe.

The Norwegian's sensational hat-trick not only made people sit up and take note of him, but it also handed Bournemouth their fist win of 2017 to haul them six points clear of the bottom three. Absolutely crucial.

Ronald Koeman and Everton fans will be praying Romelu Lukaku pens a new five-year deal as there will be plenty of clubs interested in signing the striker.

The Belgian is joint top scorer in the Premier League alongside Harry Kane after scoring his 19th of the campaign against West Brom with a close range header.

He seems to have proved Chelsea and Jose Mourinho wrong after being sold by the club in 2014, and Koeman needs his talisman to stay if he is to achieve the success he is pursuing.
