Adam El-Abd signs for Swindon on loan

Swindon have signed Bristol City defender Adam El-Abd on loan until January.

The 31-year-old, comfortable at either right-back or centre-half, is expected to go straight into Mark Cooper's squad for Saturday's home game against Peterborough.

El-Abd, who has not featured for his parent club this season, spent the last five months of the 2014/15 campaign on loan at Bury.

He started his career at Brighton and made made 300 senior appearances for his home-town club before joining Bristol City for an undisclosed fee in January 2014.
