Alex Schalk agrees new one-year contract with Ross County

The Dutch forward had been linked with a move away from Dingwall after an impressive first season in Scotland, but the Staggies announced the 23-year-old had penned a new contract.

The former NAC Breda and Go Ahead Eagles striker joined County in October and has hit eight goals since the turn of the year, including a late Hampden winner against Hibernian.
