The French giants have been linked with El Cholo for some time as grey clouds continue to hover over Laurent Blanc’s position at the helm.
However, the newspaper claims PSG have already tried to lobby Simeone into becoming their new Coach twice without permission from Atleti.
Simeone is neither in the last six months of his contract, so there could be grounds for legal action if Los Colchoneros decide to go down that route.
The former Argentina midfielder’s contract at the Vicente Calderon does not expire until 2017, but there have been reports that the 2014-15 campaign could be his last in charge of the Spanish champions.
AS also cites an alleged agreement between Simeone and Atleti President Manuel Angel Gil, in which the 424year-old agreed to stay on for another season before taking a sabbatical to learn English next year.

We're not too sure what the point would be of dragging the French club through the courts over this - Simeone stayed put, after all, so surely there's no harm done? And let's face it, Simeone's heroics with Atletico have made him one of the hottest properties in football - Atletico must be well prepared by now for the idea that a richer club might one day make a move for him.
