After his red card at Crawley in midweek the full-back will serve a one-match ban for the Cobblers, who on Thursday announced that their takeover by Kelvin Thomas had gone through.
Some more good news for Chris Wilder's side sees forward Ricky Holmes return to the squad for the first time since August after recovering from a back injury.
Despite all the recent off-field troubles, Wilder has guided Northampton up to third place in the table with a six-match unbeaten run in League Two which includes five victories. The club could top the standings on Saturday evening if they win and results elsewhere go their way.
Yeovil manager Paul Sturrock is expected to make several changes to his team following Tuesday's defeat by Wycombe, after which he said he got his team selection wrong.
Midfielders Jack Compton (calf) and Marc Laird (hamstring) remain injury doubts, as does defender Omar Sowunmi (ankle).
Francois Zoko, however, is expected to retain his place after impressing Sturrock so far since joining the club on loan.
The manager also has Christian Maghoma available for selection, after he arrived on loan from Tottenham.
