Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz has said he will leave Bayern Munich soon despite the club's intention to delay his move because of injuries.

General manager Uli Hoeness has stated that Santa Cruz is surplus to requirements following the signing of Luca Toni, Jan Schlaudraff and Miroslav Klose in attack - but he may keep him at the Allianz Arena for a while yet as Toni, Schlaudraff and Lukas Podolski are sidelined.
"It is hard to imagine staying longer," he told Kicker. "The club who is buying me wants me to integrate with them as quickly as possible.
"I hope the transfer goes through this week."
Santa Cruz, 25, has been heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester City, who are flush with money after the takeover of former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
They have already signed striker Rolando Bianchi, midfielder Gelson Fernandes and former Barcelona attacker Geovanni.
Santa Cruz struck a hat-trick in Paraguay's 5-0 win over Colombia in the Copa America. He joined Bayern, who finished in a disappointing fourth position last season, in 1999.
