Ewerthon joins Stuttgart's Brazilian revolution
Brazilian striker Ewerthon has penned a one-year loan deal with Stuttgart, with the option of a permanent move from Real Zaragoza at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old is the German champions' third Brazilian signing in three days.
A Stuttgart spokesman said Ewerthon, who played in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund from 2001 to 2005, was expected to join the club for their pre-season training in Austria on Monday.
On Friday, Ailton returned to Germany where he was the league's top scorer in 2004, signing a one-year deal with Duisburg on a transfer from Red Star Belgrade.
Werder Bremen, Ailton's former club, said on Saturday they had signed his fellow Brazilian Carlos Alberto in a 7.8 million euro transfer deal, the most expensive in the German club's history. He last played at Fluminense in Brazil on loan from Corinthians.
