Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer has publically rubbished rumours linking the club with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
Mundo Deportivo note there was speculation Bayern would look to exploit Ramos’ contract negotiations with Los Blancos by offering him the chance to move to Germany and play under Pep Guardiola.
But Sammer has told Germany’s Sky Sports that there isn’t any interest in the Spain international, arguing that Bayern don’t even have space for Ramos in the squad.
“If the rumours from Spain were true this club would consist of four teams,” Sammer said.
“Ramos has a long contract [to summer 2017] and is a piece of the club, so what is said about him and us is pure speculation.”
