Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus was so determined to remain at his club that he refused even to speak to potential suitors, a paper reports.

Germany newspaper Bild claims that the Germany international was deluged with offers from across the continent, with many big clubs smelling blood as the immensely-talented Reus toiled in an underachieving side that dropped into the Bundesliga relegation slots.
But Reus, who has repeatedly stated how happy he is at Dortmund and that money would not induce him to move, reportedly simply refused to answer his phone to many - including Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.
It's not just Van Gaal who was reportedly snubbed: PSG are said to have sent a private jet to take him to France for talks, while Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all said to have made moves.
Reus ended all speculation last week, signing a new deal that will keep the £45m-rated 25-year-old at Dortmund until the summer of 2019.
