Robert Lewandowski could reportedly miss the rest of the season after suffering a nasty injury in Bayern Munich's cup loss to Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern’s German Cup semi-final defeat to Borussia Dortmund ended their treble hopes but also took a real toll on their squad, with Lewandowski, Thiago Alcantara and Arjen Robben all sustaining injuries in the penalty shoot-out defeat.
Robben was making his first appearance in over a month but lasted only 16 minutes before feeling a tight calf, while Thiago suffered what the club describe as a “painful knock”.
However, the greatest concern surrounds Lewandowski, who scored Bayern’s goal, after he was clattered by Dortmund keeper Mitchell Langerak. He is almost certain to miss next week's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona and could be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

According to Polish team doctor Jacek Jaroszewski, "Robert has a fractured jawbone and a concussion."
An agent working for Lewandowksi in Germany, Maik Barthel, subsequently tweeted: "fortunately no broken jaw", with reports from Sport1 suggesting that the injury is in fact a broken cheekbone.
Lewandowski’s Polish agent, Cezary Kucharski tweeted to say that “after the investigation, it does not look good. I cannot write anymore.”
There are suggestions in Germany that Lewandowski will miss the rest of the season with a broken jaw, although this has not been confirmed by the club.
More details are expected imminently.
Guardiola reacted furiously when Langerak smashed into his striker and no penalty was given.
However, there is better news about Thiago, who says he has not suffered an injury.
OUR VIEW
This could be a fatal blow to Bayern Munich's Champions League hopes. Lewandowski has really come into his own in recent months after a slow start to life with his new club and helped inspire the 6-1 second-leg win over Porto with two goals. It seems that, barring a miracle, he will miss the first leg against Barcelona and without him a Bayern team already reeling from a string of injuries will lose a huge threat. With Barca rampant at the moment, this doesn't look good for Pep as he prepares to face his former team.
