Ancelotti has been confirmed as Bayern's new coach with the former Real Madrid manager set to succeed Pep Guardiola, who is on his way to a Premier League club this summer with Manchester City favourites to land the Champions League winner.
France winger Ribery says he knows Ancelotti is keen on his attributes after claming he spoke briefly to the former Milan manager about joining his then Chelsea side six years ago.
Ribery, 32, has recently returned to action after an ankle problem kept him out for nine months.

The winger had been missing since the 7-1 thrashing of Shakhtar Donestk in the Champions League last March, but scored in the 3-1 defeat by Borussia Monchengladbach before Christmas.
He picked up a thigh injury last month, but is expected to be back in two weeks after rehab during Germany's winter break.
Speaking to German sports magazine Bild, Ribery said:
I think Ancelotti is great as a coach and as a person.
"We've already met without talking too much.
"But I've heard often that he has a good relation with his players. It's exactly the type of coach who suits me.
"That shows he rates me as a player, it's great," added former Ballon d'Or nominee Ribery in reference to Ancelotti's interest in him.
