Bastian Schweinsteiger will speak to Bayern Munich before deciding whether or not his future lies away from the Allianz Arena.

The German World Cup winner's comments come after Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said Bayern would only listen to offers if the player made a transfer request.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a transfer for the midfielder with Louis van Gaal apparently keen on the man he worked with during his spell running Bayern between 2009 to 2011, but it appears United and other interested parties will be kept waiting.
"I have agreed to discuss my future with Rummenigge during the summer," said Schweinsteiger on ARD TV after Germany's surprise 2-1 friendly loss to the USA in Cologne.
"I still have one year left on my contract. That's why I am in no rush, even more so because it's still only early summer."
Rummenigge had earlier told German newspaper Bild where he stood on Schweinsteiger's situation amid claims the Bayern coach Pep Guardiola preferred to deploy Philipp Lahm and David Alaba in the midfield area.
I don’t know if the story has weight, but from our point of view it’s clear - we would only consider a transfer if Bastian were to confront us with a concrete wish.
I can't make the call for Basti," said Guardiola last month. "He's a Bayern player, and he is under contract. He's an outstanding legend at the club, but he has to decide, not Pep or [CEO] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He has a contract, and is part of my plans for next season.
OUR VIEW
Schweinsteiger is among several names who have been touted to arrive at Old Trafford during the close season. Morgan Schneiderlin of Southampton is another who would be welcome at Van's Gaal United. It would not be fanciful to see Schweinsteiger in a Manchester United shirt with LVG seeking cover for Michael Carrick, but much will depend upon Guardiola's feelings on the matter. Will he look to rebuild the heart of his midfield after coming up just short in the Champions League for a second straight season? Does Schweinsteiger fit the mould of the type of player he is looking for? There is certainly a feeling that Schweinsteiger may be on the periphery of Pep's plans, but United are unlikely to be the only club interested in landing such a figure.
