Cologne, Ingolstadt continue impressive starts in draw

Ingolstadt captain Marvin Matip marked his 30th birthday with a goal that secured a 1-1 draw against Cologne in the Bundesliga.

Matip nodded home from a corner in the 21st minute to cancel out Anthony Modeste’s opener for the hosts.
Cologne pushed for a winner after the restart, but were repelled by visiting goalkeeper keeper Ramazan Ozcan.
"Sometimes it helps when you've broad shoulders," Ozcan said afterwards.
A point saw both sides climb the table, with Cologne sitting just ahead of their rivals in fifth courtesy of a better goals scored record.
