The defender underwent surgery on his right hand and wrist after being hurt in the blast, which happened on April 11 as the the team travelled to their Westfalenstadion home for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Monaco.
The 26-year-old was the only player to receive serious injuries in the blast.
Dortmund said in a statement: " Much to his and his team-mates' delight, the Spaniard on Wednesday morning completed his first team training session at the training ground in Brackel since the incident on 11 April."
Bartra wore a cast on his right arm and posed for a selfie with his team-mates as he made his return.
Dortmund, who lie third in the Bundesliga table, have two more league games to play this season, starting with a trip to Augsburg on Saturday, with the DFB-Pokal final to follow against Eintracht Frankfurt on May 27.
