Carswell facing late test

Motherwell will hand a late fitness test to Stuart Carswell (knee) ahead of the William Hill Scottish Cup encounter with Dundee United.

Paul Lawson returns following a dead leg but caretaker boss Kenny Black reported a similar squad to last week's trip to Inverness, which was without Bob McHugh (knock) and the ill Craig Moore.

Steven Hammell (groin) and Jack Leitch (knee) remain on the sidelines following surgery.
