Karim Benzema misses Real Madrid's semi-final clash with Juventus

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has not been named in Real Madrid’s squad to play Juventus on Tuesday after failing to recover from injury.
Benzema resumed full training on Sunday after battling back from a medial ligament sprain which caused him to miss Liga games against Celta Vigo, Almeria and Sevilla as well as the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final win over Atletico Madrid.
The France international sustained the injury in the first leg of the European clash against rivals Atleti.
While he responded to an individual training plan and trained with team-mates on Sunday, Benzema was not named in the 20-man squad that travelled to Turin for the meeting with newly-crowned Italian champions Juventus.
ANALYSIS FROM FOOTBALL ESPANA
"It's reported Gareth Bale will be fit to start for Real Madrid. Marca says the Wales international will return from a calf injury suffered against Malaga, leaving Karim Benzema as the only one of the BBC to miss out.
"Bale would partner Cristiano Ronaldo in a 4-4-2 formation. Isco or Javier Hernandez is the choice facing Carlo Ancelotti, as Sergio Ramos could continue in midfield. Hernandez would miss out in a 4-4-2 formation but if Ancelotti uses Bale's return to go back to 4-3-3, the Mexico international would have a place and Isco would miss out."
Full Real Madrid squad:
Goalkeepers: Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco.
Defenders: Varane, Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao, Carvajal, Arbeloa, Marcelo and Nacho.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Bale, Lucas Silva, Isco and Illarramendi.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Jese and Chicharito.
