St Mirren boss Gus MacPherson has sent defender Mamadou Seck back to Sheffield United following a short trial at Love Street. The Senegalese 27-year-old has two years remaining on a contract he signed when moving to Bramall Lane in January.

Seck started just two matches for the Blades and MacPherson was prepared to hand him the chance of a permanent deal with the Buddies.
However he said: "We won't be taking our interest in defender Mamadou Seck any further."
Meanwhile MacPherson has confirmed Israeli striker Roy Dayan, 22, remained in with a chance of earning a deal.
Dayan is expected to face Morton on Saturday. MacPherson told the club's official website: "Roy Dayan is still here with us - his trial period with us will continue for now."
