Bristol Rovers' Angelo Balanta will be hoping for his first start when Welling visit the Memorial Ground.
The Colombia-born winger came off the bench to score the winner against Barnet on Tuesday but may have to settle for another place among the substitutes as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The Pirates should have no fresh concerns as they look to extend their unbeaten run to five games and boss Darrell Clarke could hand Alex Wall his debut after the striker arrived on loan from Luton.
Recent additions Nathan Blissett and Lyle Della-Verde are both expected to keep their places with Clarke hopeful of extending the latter's loan deal from parent-club Fulham.
Welling welcome back Chris Bush and Jamal Fyfield as they aim to make it three successive league wins for the first time this season.
The defensive duo have completed their respective bans and could return after the Cards were forced to field four defenders all under the age of 21 against Braintree last time out.
That could mean a return to the bench for full-back Jack Taylor who made his first-ever start for Welling on Tuesday.
Loui Fazakerley, Ben Jefford and Tyrone Marsh all remain sidelined with respective injuries.
