Cotterill confirms double exit

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill has confirmed Adam El-Abd and Bobby Reid are to leave the club before the loan deadline tomorrow.

El-Abd, who has made just two league appearances for City this season, will be heading to League Two side Bury, while Reid is to rejoin Plymouth.

Reid had spent a period on loan with the Pilgrims in September, but returned to Ashton Gate after an injury to Korey Smith left Cotterill short of options in the middle of the park.

The subsequent return to fitness of Smith has left Reid surplus to requirements, and the 21-year-old will return to Home Park to help the push for promotion.
