The Spanish full-back took a knock to the Achilles during the defeat to Brentford last weekend but Reds boss Dougie Freedman thinks he will be fit.
Michael Mancienne returned to the bench at Griffin Park after a knee injury and he will be pushing for a starting place on Saturday.
Fellow midfielders Chris Cohen (knee) and Robert Tesche (foot) have resumed training but are not yet ready to return to first-team contention, although Tesche could be involved against Fulham on December 5.
Reading manager Steve Clarke is expected to retain much of the team that last week defeated Bolton 2-1.
Beyond three long-term absentees, Clarke has a fully-fit squad from which to choose.
Hal Robson-Kanu, Stephen Quinn and Aaron Tshibola remain out and are unlikely to return until the turn of the year.
Jack Stacey is no longer available for selection, having joined League Two Barnet on loan.
