The Chelsea striker was the headline act at a five-a-side tournament in Kuwait and took his role as talisman rather seriously.
After setting the mood with a feisty trip and barge combination, the Spain international marched on to score five goals against a Nottingham Forest side.
The Al-Roudan tournament, which also featured Andriy Shevchenko and Carlos Puyol, also provided Costa with the bizarre opportunity to nutmeg men dressed in sumo suits.
Again, he didn’t hold back.
Costa was presented with a ceremonial robe after the tournament before wandering around the pitch and chatting to fans.
He had hoped to pit himself against Falcao – not the new Chelsea signing, but his unrelated namesake – but the futsal legend, 38, missed out through injury.
