Rangers boss Stuart McCall handed 18-year-old striker Ryan Hardie his full debut as the Light Blues took on Dumbarton.
The Stranraer-born teenager claimed his first start for Gers after four substitute appearances, replacing veteran hitman Kenny Miller at the Dumbarton Stadium.
Tom Walsh - also 18 - came into McCall's line-up for the Scottish Championship fixture, the winger taking Dean Shiels' place on the right-hand side of midfield.
