Portugal give it away and Payet floats a gorgeous diagonal ball into the box - Griezmann's header is looping into the top left corner but Rui Patricio pushes it over.

16' Ronaldo is down again and he looks close to tears.

He is surrounded by physios and team-mates and is helped off for more treatment... he comes back several minutes later but will he be able to perform anywhere close to his best?

90+1' Gignac hits the post

So close from Andre-Pierre Gignac, who turns Pepe inside-out but sees his shot hit the inside of the post and bounce across goal agonisingly out of Griezmann's reach.

107' Guerreiro hits the bar

Portugal left-back Raphael Guerreiro hits a free-kick from just outside the box left-footed, and the ball clangs back off the underside of the bar. So close.

Incredible strike from Eder, who holds off his man a drills a low shot into the net from 30 yards. What a goal.
