Wales qualified from the group stages with an impressive win over Russia with goals from Neil Taylor, Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale.
The result meant that Wales finished top of the group with six points, with England just behind on five.
Ramsey and Taylor made the first-half breakthroughs, and Bale was unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty for an obvious trip on him in the box.
In the second half, Wales continued to dominate, and Bale grabbed his third of the tournament to become the top goalscorer in the tournament so far.
The capitulation left Russia bottom of the group with a single point, having failed to impress in any of their three games.

TALKING POINT

Wales have shown great resilience, but they are also more than just a defensive side. With a defeat against England, they could have played for a point and not risked anything. Instead, they confidently took on and took apart Russia. They have shown that there are few teams they won't be able to trouble in the knockout rounds.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Neil Taylor and Aaron Ramsey both contributed goals, but Gareth Bale was at the heart of Wales' success. Bale has been quiet for the first two games, but against Russia he was full of direct running and strength, and should have been awarded a penalty in the first half. His improvement bodes well for Wales in the later stages.
