Joe Hart: Waste of time him being there. Would Jack Butland have benefited more from the experience? 6
Nathaniel Clyne: Wasteful when in good positions to cross. Looked sharp when tested defensively. 6
Gary Cahill: Little to do for the captain, but made some timely clearances when called upon. 6
Chris Smalling: Lucky to have gotten away with a clumsy challenge in the box but otherwise sound. 6
Ryan Bertrand: Very poor all evening. Gave the ball away far too often, and lacked conviction on the ball. 4
James Milner: Another player guilty of a poor final pass, but he worked tirelessly as ever. 6
Adam Lallana: Considering his lack of action for Liverpool, Lallana was one of the better players on the night. 6
Ross Barkley: Footwork was outstanding at times. Should have got on the scoresheet but finally showing some end product. 8
Theo Walcott: Took his goal really well, but looked a little disheartened to be played out wide. 7
Raheem Sterling: Goal saved him a lower rating. Poor finishing, crossing was wayward and lacked any conviction when taking on his man. 6
Harry Kane: His club form looked to be weighing on his mind. Missed great chance in second half but offered little else. 6

Dele Alli: A proud moment. Will likely get more gametime in Lithuania.
Jamie Vardy: His directness may be useful to England in the long run. 7
