Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford out of Chelsea clash - Report

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is reportedly out of the match against Chelsea on Monday evening, as are Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Rooney was supposedly available for this match but a late report from the BBC's Simon Stone said that the captain had come off worse in a challenge with Phil Jones on the training ground.

Subsequently Rooney will not be available but Stone did report that there was no blame on Jones.

Stone further reported that Martial would be out with an injury whilst Rashford is out due to illness.

There was no mention on the severity of the injury for Rooney and whether or not he would be fit for the upcoming England matches.

United are already without Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he serves a three-match ban.
