FIFA crisis: The £16 million turkey funded by Sepp Blatter that may need a new ending

Sepp Blatter is detached from reality just like Tim Roth's distorted portrayal of the FIFA president in the awful straight-to-DVD classic United Passions.

Tim Roth starred in Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, Sam Neill was in Jurassic Park and Gerard Depardieu is fondly remembered for Green Card.
It is unlikely that any of those three actors will want to be remembered for taking the tainted FIFA dollar last year in the straight-to-dvd United Passions, the story of how football's governing body came about.
FIFA funded this turkey to the tune of £16 million. The plot of their own vanity project at last year's Cannes film festival is described as "an epic, untold story that brings to life the inspiring saga of the World Cup and the three determined men who created it. Driven by their vision and passion, three men, overcame their doubts and fought obstacles and scandals to make the World Cup a reality".
The cost of making the movie caused outrage among UEFA delegates while some FIFA members were apparently unaware about the making of the film with Blatter pressing ahead with his own support.
While Sam Neill would have looked better being eaten by a T Rex, Roth in particular must have wished he never survived the restaurant scene with John Travolta in Pulp Fiction such was his sickening potrayal of Sepp Blatter, who apparently rewrote parts of the script himself so he could be cast in a better light.
With the FBI now on the trail of FIFA, it is a shame that the film was released last year when there is so much of the story still to come amid tales of racketeering, fraud and money laundering.
The ending to the movie may yet see Blatter hit the buffers after years of sloshing around in the folding stuff out in Switzerland.
"Blatter is good at finding money," says Neill during the trailer. How apt.
We wonder if there will be enough largesse left over to make United Passions 2 including the story of how seven FIFA fat cats were extradited to face trial in the States.
And perhaps even give the full account of Blatter's scandal-ridden legacy as FIFA president.
