Round-up: Scott Sinclair fires hat-trick as Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest share six goals

Scott Sinclair hit a hat-trick but Aston Villa were held to a 3-3 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Dexter Blackstock gave the home side the lead before Villa equalised when Sinclair converted Jordan Amavi's cross.
Sinclair added a second after some sloppy defending before thumping a long-range effort into the net to give Tim Sherwood's side a 3-1 lead.
Forest scored twice inside the closing 10 minutes or so with Henri Lansbury and Kelvin Wilson restoring parity for the Championship side,
Leicester City recovered from two goals behind to complete a 3-2 win against Birmingham in another Midlands derby.
David Cotterill and Demarai Gray gave Birmingham a two-goal lead at the break but goals from Robert Huth, Danny Drinkwater and Shinji Okazaki handed the Claudio Ranieri's team the win.
Leeds downed a shadow Everton side 2-0 courtesy of goals from Alex Mowatt and Chris Wood.
Newcastle lost 1-0 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach with Eden Hazard's brother Thorgan scoring the winner after coming off the bench.

Jermain Lens handed Dick Advocaat's Sunderland side a 1-0 win over Hannover 1-0 in Germany.
Swansea drew 0-0 with Deportivo La Coruna at the Liberty Stadium.
Fulham and Crystal Palace drew 1-1 at Craven Cottage. Pape Souare scored for Palace to negate Ben Pringle's goal.
Palace centre-back Damien Delaney was carted off midway through the second half to give manager Alan Pardew cause for concern.
Norwich enjoyed a 2-1 win over Brentford at home. Wes Hoolahan and Cameron Jerome scored for the Premier League newcomers.
Bournemouth drew 0-0 with Hoffenheim while Stoke City were beaten 2-1 at Cologne. Peter Odemwingie scored for Mark Hughes' side.
