The full-back left the field for treatment and returned sporting a bandaged head to finish the game - the Iron's third successive Vanarama National League success.
Simeon Akinola missed the Welling clash with an unspecified injury and will be monitored, while Matt Fry is definitely missing with a knee problem.
Anthony Edgar came on for his debut to set up Braintree's winner at the weekend and he is pushing to start.
Richard Brodie is expected to return for Aldershot after he sat out Saturday's last-gasp defeat to Eastleigh.
Brodie has been nursing a groin spasm and was hoping to be fit for the weekend game but he rested the problem ahead of the Bank Holiday Monday clash.
He told BBC Surrey: "If I'm honest I could have probably played at 85-90 per cent but there was a risk that something might happen again and I didn't really want to miss five or six games so I missed one to be back for Monday."
The Shots will still be without Damon Lathorpe (leg), while Sam Hatton missed out with an unspecified injury on Saturday and will be monitored.
