Ronnie Moore insists Tranmere would still be playing in Sky Bet League One, rather than preparing for life in non-league football, if they had not sacked him in 2014.

Managerless Rovers suffered their second straight relegation on Saturday following a loss at Plymouth, which ended their 94-year Football League existence, while Moore's current club Hartlepool managed to stave off demotion themselves despite looking dead and buried when he arrived.
Pools appointed Moore, 62, in December, 10 months after Tranmere suspended him when it had emerged he was being investigated by the Football Association for a breach of betting rules.
Rovers ended up sacking him once the FA handed him a suspended ban and a fine, even though Moore only made one bet on Tranmere to win as part of a £1 accumulator.
Moore, a two-time boss at Prenton Park, is still hurt by his old club's actions, which occurred under the previous regime prior to their summer takeover.
"What happened at Tranmere is ridiculous; I should still be there now in my eyes," he told Radio City.
"I think the decision that was made was wrong, I think the decision that was made has proved to be wrong.
"I'm disappointed that Tranmere have gone down. Someone had to go; I just wish it was honestly someone else."
Moore went on to indicate how he thought the club would not be in their current predicament if he was still at the helm.
"I left the club when we were two points off fourth from bottom and we'd just had a great result at Bristol City," he added.
"As a manager, you get a feel from things and you can smell when things have turned around. I honestly felt that things had turned around.
"To end up being put on gardening leave for something that was so petty it was untrue; a basic mistake made by myself.
"I've made a mistake but everybody makes mistakes - It wasn't like I was betting £2,000 a time on Tranmere to get beat. It was a ridiculous situation that happened.
"I haven't got a crystal ball - I can only say what I feel - but I don't believe we'd have gone down.
"I certainly think we'd have been playing in League One instead of now playing in the Conference."
