Maradona suffers relapse

Argentine soccer great Diego Maradona returned to hospital with abdominal pain early on Friday. Maradona was released from a two-week treatment for alcohol abuse and liver problems just two days ago.

"When someone has strong abdominal pain it seems prudent to me to do some primary testing and decide whether he goes home or is rehospitalized," Alfredo Cahe, Maradona's personal doctor, said.
Maradona had been expected to travel to the La Prairie clinic in Switzerland to continue his treatment.
According to reports, Maradona's condition is not life threatening.
