The defender will serve the first game of a three-match suspension after he was sent off for grabbing Lincoln's Matt Rhead around the throat in Saturday's draw at Sincil Bank.
Craig Clay, Jack Mackreth, Marcus Marshall, Toto Nsiala and Jon-Paul Pittman were all substitutes on Saturday with the latter three rested as precautions and they could start if boss Paul Hurst opts to freshen his side up after a quick turnaround.
Scott Brown (ankle) and Josh Sunter (foot) are out as Grimsby look to end a three-game winless run.
John Askey's Macclesfield travel to Blundell Park looking for their second win of the season.
The Silkmen were moments away from victory over Chester on Saturday, only to be undone by two injury-time goals to lose 2-1 to Steve Burr's men.
Town have an almost fully-fit squad to choose from as goalkeeper Shwan Jalal is pushing for a return after sitting out their last two fixtures following a collision in their loss at Lincoln.
Before the Chester defeat, Askey told the club's website: "When you lose you should have the mentality of wanting the next game to hurry up so you can put things right." He will be hoping the quick turnaround can help alter his side's run of form.
