Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has won the prestigious Golden Boy award.
The 18-year-old held off competition from Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele to win the prize, which salutes the best player in Europe under the age of 21.
Mbappe burst onto the scene at Monaco last season, before earning a big-money move – initially on loan – to PSG, where he has formed a prolific understanding with Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
He has four goals and four assists in 11 appearances this campaign.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport initially named a 24-man shortlist for the award, before whittling it down to three players last week.
Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic were among those in the early running.
