La Liga round-up: Granada thump Levante to climb out of relegation zone

Granada surged to a 5-1 with over fellow strugglers Levante on Thursday with a Youssef El-Arabi hat-trick taking them out of the bottom three.

Isaac Success got the ball rolling for the home side, before a penalty from El Arabi doubled their advantage. Ruben Rochina put the Andalusian side 3-0 up on the stroke of half-time.

Ruben Garcia got one back for the away side eight minutes from time before El Arabi scored twice in the final five minutes to seal his treble. Levante had Simao Junior sent off in stoppage time.

Getafe responded to a 5-1 thumping by Real Madird with a surprise win away at Real Sociedad to lift them off the bottom of the table.
