Brazilian Cicinho, 27, has made it clear to new coach Bernd Schuster that he is prepared to leave the Spanish champions if he is going to be played out of his favoured position.

He said: "I don't feel comfortable playing on the left. I would like to play in my position because that place is where I am used to playing and where I can give the most to my team.

"I have made it very clear that I want to play on the right side of the pitch. If I am not going to be allowed to play there I prefer to play in another team.

"Now is the moment to analyse this because I have proposals from other teams and I want to play where I will be happy."

The attacking full back, capped 15 times for his country, has attracted interest from Roma and Chelsea.
