Fernando Llorente starts in Kane’s absence, while Danny Rose, making his first start since January, also gets the nod ahead of their trip to Manchester United at Saturday lunchtime.
Meanwhile, Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini feature for the Hammers, in what could prove to be a crucial match for manager Slaven Bilic, who has reportedly been given two matches to save his job.
Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez are all among the substitutes.
