Atletico trio Fernando Torres, Gabi and Tiago linked with China move

The high-profile migration to China shows little sign of slowing after three Atletico Madrid players became the latest to be linked with big-money moves.
Fernando Torres, Gabi and Tiago Mendes have all attracted offers from the Chinese Super League, according to Marca. Guangzhou Evergrande shelled out £31 million on their former team-mate Jackson Martinez on Wednesday – the biggest signing of the transfer window.
Torres is reportedly closest to a move, although he longs for a permanent deal with his first club when his loan from AC Milan ends.
Marca claim the Spaniard also has offers from the United States, UAE and Japan, but China’s financial package eclipses the lot.
Gabi and Tiago apparently rejected moves in January, but could yet be tempted across to Asia given the Chinese transfer window remains open until February 26.
Brazilian midfielder Ramires swapped Chelsea for Jiangsu Suning in a £25m move last week, while Manchester City’s Yaya Toure has been linked with a move in the summer.
