Andres Iniesta: Sergio Ramos won’t leave Real Madrid

Andres Iniesta does not believe Real Madrid will sell Sergio Ramos this summer but has urged Los Blancos to appreciate the defender’s talents.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks after reportedly growing disillusioned with life at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the midfielder expects his fellow Spain international to stay put.

“I’ve always said that Sergio [Ramos] is one of the best centre-backs [in the world],” he told reporters.

“He’s at a great team like Madrid and I don’t think they’ll let him go. For me, my teammates are the best [defenders in the world].”
