Antoine Griezmann hints at Premier League switch

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has dropped a strong hint that he will move to the Premier League in the future.

The in-demand Frenchman, who won the Golden Boot at Euro 2016, revealed his international team-mates have spoken favourably about the English top-flight.

"French players from the Premier League often talk about it and say it’s great," he told TF1 show Telefoot.

"But for now, I don’t want to leave."

The 25-year-old also quashed speculation linking him to Paris Saint-Germain and Liga rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The PSG project is interesting but Ligue 1 is not. Not now. I prefer La Liga or Premier League.

"A transfer between Real and Atletico? No, it’s not possible. There is a pact between them," he added.

"There is no pact between Atletico and Barca but the three guys [Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar] are untouchable."
