Sevilla sign Franco Vazquez from Palermo

Sevilla have agreed terms with Palermo to sign Franco Vazquez, according to the Liga club.

The Spanish club have released a statement confirming the signing of the striker on a five-year contract pending a medical.

It is reported the transfer will cost around €15m (£12.5m) plus bonuses.

Attacking midfielder Vazquez is already in Florida to meet his new team-mates during a pre-season training camp.

The 27-year-old Italian-Argentine creative midfielder was under contract with Palermo until June 2019.
